The work explores a juxtapositionof two images: a close-up of a room divider in an abandoned psychiatric hospital and a portrait of a young woman lying in nature. She is styled in clothing found at the hospital. Both images reference nature—one as an imitation, the other as a lived experience. They are intended to reference each other and signify a longing for true autonomy.
