26

By Noah Kozler

I burn incense, sing loudly,

am clumsy–

I spend too much money

on the internet.

I can see the moonrise from my kitchen window,

I started speaking to my father again.

I shaved my head,

got a cat, hung fairy lights

in my room.

I greet the trees on my way to class.

Put lots of honey in my tea. Smoke too much,

don’t cry enough,

my circadian rhythm is fucked.

I found four ladybeetles

the other day, one rode with me

all the way home. I called my friend

just to tell her.
